Asus announces TAICHI, Transformer Book lineup, Tablets 600 and 810, Transformer AiO

All new devices run on Windows 8, and the Transformer AiO does Android as well.
Asus TAICHI netbook is available in 11.6″ and 13.3″ versions. It is as big as the Asus Zenbook, but offers a second touch-enabled display on top of its cover lid. Both screens use the IPS technology, have resolutions of 1920 x 1280 pixels and can be used independently (rather than one just mirroring the other).
The TAICHI netbooks are powered by Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 processors and come with 4GB RAM, SSD internal storage, dual-band Wi-Fi and dual cameras. They run on Windows 8, but their pricing and availability are yet to be revealed.
Asus Transformer Book lineup will be available in either 11.6, 13 or 14 inches of IPS touchscreen estate, all with FullHD resolution and multi-touch support.
the Transformer Books are based on the Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 CPUs and come with discrete graphics, 4GB RAM and SSD/HDD storage. There is a 5MP snapper at the back and an HD front one for video chats. They run on Windows 8, too.

It also featured some killer game demos for some of the upcoming games. This includes the likes of Halo 4, Gears of War: Judgement, Tomb Raider Crossroads, Forza Horizon, Resident Evil 6, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Far Cry 3, Fable The Journey and more.


Sony shows off “God of War: Ascension” and “The Last of Us” gameplay videos 

Sony took the opportunity at E3 2012 to do exactly that.



Ascension looks a lot like the previous God of War games. There is Kratos who is his usual angry self, tearing his enemies apart limb by limb. There are some new enemies here but the coolest thing that you see in the gameplay video is the ability to repair damaged environments to their former self and use that to progress through the game. We also see some pretty badass mini bosses in the video.

Lenovo announce two new Ivy Bridge ultrabooks – Ideapad U310 and U410 

The Ideapad U310 and U410 from Lenovo are now available globally, featuring the latest Intel Ivy Bridge processors.



The two ultrabooks have 13″ and 14″ displays, respectively, and both feature Core i3, i5 and i7 variants.
If you’re unfamiliar with Ivy Bridge, it is the name of the latest Intel CPU architecture, which is build on a 22 nm process, resulting in improved performance and lower power consumption. Improvements range anywhere from 5-15% in CPU performance, and up to 68% for integrated GPU chipsets.
The Ideapad U310 can be configured with HDD’s as large as 500 GB, and up to 7 hours of battery life. Likewise, the U410 can support hard disk sizes up to 1 TB, with 9 hours of battery life. Both devices will have the ability to incorporate an additional 32 GB SSD for caching purposes.
