WiMAX sporting HTC J gets announced in Japan

The WiMAX equipped HTC J has become official for the Japanese carrier KDDI.

The HTC J features a Snapdragon S4 chipset with two 1.5GHz CPU cores. The screen is a 4.3" AMOLED unit with qHD resolution. There is 16GB of built-in memory and a microSD card card slot for further expansion. There is an 8MP camera on the back, and a 1.3MP front-facing unit. Along with the typical for a high-end Android device connectivity suite, the HTC J packs an infrared port too. The OS on tap is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
